Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue ellis-taylor, an American stage, screen actor and producer. She is best known as a film actress for her role in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) as well as The Mentalist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies from Brown University as well as an MFA in Acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an actor, writer and actress who works on stage, in theatre and TV. Her first job was as a theatre actress but then proceeded to be a part of numerous television series, mainstream and independent films. Her most famous role was Miranda Shaw in ABC's Quantico while also appearing in BET's epic show The Book of Negroes. For both of these roles she was praised by critics and received numerous nominations and distinctions including an award from the Television Critics Choice Award for Best Actress. The first time she was professionally acted in the role of Ariel, in The Tempest. Her stage credits include the Broadway show of Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. Coming to her movie career she is best known for her roles in films like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help. The role she plays on TV in the series High Incident of ABC's Police Drama High Incident has earned her accolades.
