Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria is an Romanian actress. She was awarded the British Academy Television Award Best Actress for her role in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. Speaks French, German, English and Romanian fluently. Her father, who is a teacher of theatre at one of Romania's most prestigious theater schools, also an instructor in theatre. She was awarded the Best Female Actor of the Year 2000 Award in the young Actor Gala Mangalia. The European Film Promotion Board named her an European Shooting Star in 2008. She taught for four years at University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu Iasi. bAnamaria Marina is a Romanian actress born in Iasi Romania on 1 April 1978. Anamaria Marinca was born in Romania and made her film debut with Sex Traffic. For this, she won the British Academy Television Award of Best Actress. In addition to her outstanding performance in her first film, she is remembered for role in the Romanian art-film 4 Months 3 weeks and 2 Days which won her numerous awards, like the European Film Award for Best Actress London Film Critics. She was in 2007 the lead role in as a character in the Romanian movie 4 luni 3 weeks si2 zile (4 months, 3 weeks 4 Months 3 Weeks and 3 Weeks, 2 Days) which was directed composed by Cristian Mungiu. The film received two prizes at the Cannes Film Festival (the Cinema Prize of the French National Education System & the FIPRESCI Prize). Youth Without Youth by Francis Ford Coppola was a different film that she was in. She was also in 2008 as Yasim Anwar on the BBC five-episode miniseries The Last Enemy. Marinca was also a part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. Later, she had a major part in the film Fury where she portrayed an German woman known as Irma Aunt of Emma.
