Sharon Yvonne Stone born 10th March, 1958 to Dorothy Lawson, a accountant and Joseph William Stone 2nd, a former tool and die worker and factory worker. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her three siblings. Stone began the second grade when she was five years old. Her parents believed her as being academically gifted. Saegertown School situated in Saegertown Pennsylvania was her high school. She graduated in 1975. In 1975, the Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw Stone winning Miss Crawford County. Stone was able to move in New Jersey with her aunt in 1977 to pursue a modeling career and signed up with the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. After that, she moved back to Europe and spent the entire year in Milan in Italy and Paris. Stone, disillusioned at the world of model in Europe took up acting in Europe. At the age of 20, she appeared in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories," the film which got mixed praises.
